  1. Winter school on darkness

    VARES Valga’s architecture residency

"The workshop culminated in a collective performative walk through the night-time urban space of Valga/Valka. The figures created during the winter school reflected both personal and urban darkness."

  2. ARTIST RESIDENCY “SUSTAIN–ART–ABILITY”
Exhibition No White Flags. Art space DUO, Art Academy of Latvia

Math problem: How sustainable can a manifesto be if the manifester is eating cake
from a plastic box after eating cutlets for lunch?

    • Futurama S1.E8 A Big Piece of Garbage (TV Episode 1999)
    • You are a mirror, a small big Earth. A reflection of everything that has happened to you
and everyone/everything before and probably the future beings too. Destructive, kind,
cruel, loving. Very ugly and so so beautiful. Mortal.
    • Being mortal doesn't mean you should kill yourself today or later this week.
    • Plastic Beach studio album by Gorillaz (2010)
    • I can't quit smoking so I will just accept and enjoy. Destruction is understandably
    tempting.
    • Eventually I will find beauty in plastic fields but refuse to ever find it in shiny
    advertisements spreading perfectionism.

Katra diena, kurā manas kailās pēdas nepieskaras tīrai zemei, ir noziegums. /Every day my bare feet don't touch clean ground is a crime.

Upolstery foam, sticks and cigarette butts from tin, velour fabric, white cotton flag, shiny side of plastic wrappings.

  3. Liene Lintere &  Grusha Pankert

Two humans brought two stones into the exhibition space

  4. Liene Lintere & Klara Rosenlund

tamed, mad, loved, abandoned on the side of the road, rabid, on a leash, running free -
this is how it feels to be in love for me

    beaten, bitten, scratched and chewed
I swallow your spit, I lay down in dirt

GREAT BARGAINS ON PRE-OWNED PETS is an exhibition about dependency. The artists represent two dogs. One is antisocial, it growls and bites. Don’t pet the dog. The other is whining and waiting for you to come back.

    VENT Space, Tallinn
